Welcome To The Pacific Learning Center

Pacific Learning Center Inc. formally opened their doors in September 2006. Though we are a young company we have been providing consulting here in Japan since May of 2005 from our sister company in Honolulu Hawaii, Pacific Autism Center. As the needs grew within the autism community, so did the need to formally set up a center and provide a more comprehensive program and infrastructure in Japan.

With support from parents and others in the Tokyo area we have successfully set up a small center where we provide services in our center, in the homes and in the schools. Pacific Learning Center has the support and oversight from both Pacific Autism Center based in Honolulu, Hawaii and from the Center of Autism and Related Disorders, based in California. With a strong team approach and support from numerous professionals, Pacific Learning Center has the ability to deliver high quality services that can have a dramatic effect and can positively impact a child, helping the child maximize his or her potential.

Our center is located in Minato-ku and yet we provide services for children who far exceed this area. We can help children with many different disabilities overcome their deficits but the area we specialize in is the autism spectrum. Our basic belief is that children can overcome many or all of the symptoms of this disorder with a program such as ours where we implement a quality ABA program. We know that recovery is possible if the children are caught early enough. This doesn’t mean that we believe we can cure children from autism, only that they overcome the appearance and the symptoms of the disorder, where they are indistinguishable from their peers. For some, this may be impossible to imagine, but in our business, we reach for the impossible and frequently achieve it.
